STATE FAIR PORTRAITS

State Fair Portraits takes a colorful, nostalgic and sometimes humorous look at quintessential Americana, photographed at the Michigan State Fair in 2019 and 2021. It presents a cacophony of patterns and sounds, as well as portraiture and reflections of fair-goers, farm animals, roller coaster riders, cotton-candy enthusiasts and everyone in-between.

State Fair Portraits was shown in a solo documentary exhibition at Hatch Gallery, Hamtramck in summer 2020.
