Locals Bryant Dault and Jordan Millette fish on Lake Michigan in Escanaba in the Upper Peninsula, where ice fishing is a way of life. Anglers come from all over to fish for walleye and perch into March, when warmer temperatures often cause unsafe ice in other parts of Michigan. Dault and Milette head out around 5:30am and fish until just after sunrise when the fish are most apt to bite, sometimes three times per week.
