Chelsea got married while living in the house. Laura and I went to her wedding, which was a small civil ceremony with a reception at a local meadery. It was a lovely, intimate affair of just a few close friends. In a few days' time, Chelsea will take off to Germany where she will live with her husband, who just got a transfer from work. Often times when Chelsea is talking about her future or checking on things to do for her move, I catch a glimpse of myself in her. At 26, I married someone who moved a continent to be with me. Even though we didn't stay together, I still consider it to be one of the best decisions of my life. Sometimes when I think about Chelsea's new life, I see myself reaching out for my former life, ready for everything.
